Governor Jodi Rell Endorses Sean Sullivan For Second District House Seat
SECOND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT, CT –Today Sean Sullivan, Candidate for Congress in Connecticut’s Second Congressional District announced that he has received the endorsement of the 87th Governor of the State of Connecticut M. Jodi Rell. The Governor said in a statement:
Sean Sullivan is a man of tremendous integrity and courage who would be a wonderful addition to our states congressional delegation. Having spent over two decades in public service I know that Sean Sullivan is the type of leader who will bring real leadership for real results in our nation’s capital.
Sean Sullivan spent 26 years defending our nation in the United States Navy with two of those years in command of our Groton Submarine Base. Sean was instrumental in the saving of the Groton facility and without his leadership and steadfast commitment to keeping our base open we may have had a different outcome.
In the race for Congress in Eastern Connecticut Sean Sullivan is the best qualified candidate to bring real leadership to Washington that has been sorely lacking.
Sean Sullivan is my choice for Congress in Eastern Connecticut and I am proud to endorse him.
